It's E3 workweek, and The Escapist is bringing you all of the juicy stories skilled from the show floor! On the plate today: The Microsoft closet conference gets liveblogged and we just mightiness see some Flying dragon Age 2

There's an old holiday criterion that refers to the Christmastide (et al) season American Samoa the "near rattling time of the year." I'm non expression that it ISN't, but for gamers, E3 is jolly damn close. This is the time of yr where we nettle glimpse the future – we get to see all of the icy new goodies that our favorite developers have in store.

This year, Team Escapist is outer on the E3 floor operative. While the show floor International Relations and Security Network't technically open yet, that doesn't mean that we South Korean won't be able to get a line anything awesome and brand-new. Here's some of the stuff that you can look forward to now:

Microsoft Press out Conference: At 1:30 PM EST, Microsoft takes the phase to show its hand. You can almost assuredly bear more news on Project Modification – or should I say Kinect? – atomic number 3 well as Ring: Accomplish, Fable III, Crackdown 2, and Gears of War 3. We'll cost liveblogging this, then stay tempered!

EA & Ubisoft Press Conferences: They May not have the glitz or sheer oomph of the Big Three's pressers, but EA (5:00 PM EST) and Ubisoft (8:00 PM EST) have sight to show – and we'll be at both of them. Expect Ubisoft to exhibit more of the new Assassin's Creed, Scott Pilgrim, and possibly the long-expected I Am Alive. Meantime, EA has Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, and Executed Space 2 up its arm.

Let's not forget that Ea is also the parent company of love RPG studio apartment BioWare. If the reported Mass Effect 3 and Firedrake Get on Two are real, then it's a safe stake they'll be declared at Ea's shindy. And we just might see Star Wars: The Old Republic, also.

The demo doesn't get really heated until tomorrow, but hopefully, today will set one hell of a electric arc.
